News from the Germantown Library...


Diane Cockrell, Instructional Librarian at the Germantown campus library along with her colleagues Katalin Muyal, Universities at Shady Grove (USG), and Karen Miller, Agency Manager, Damascus Branch, Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL), hosted the ninth annual Upcounty Libraries Roundtable at the Universities at Shady Grove Camille Kendall Academic Center on May 20, 2008. This annual event has become more and more popular in building connections between all types and kinds of libraries in the Upcounty region and included talks from State Senator Nancy King and Betty Day from Maryland Digital Library to name a new.
