Join the Book Discussion at Takoma Park!

The Maryland Humanities Council presents the Montgomery County kickoff of the new statewide reading initiative, One Maryland/One Book!

Join the conversation about the five year chronicle of Cedric Jennings’ life as retold by author Ron Suskind in the biography, A Hope in the Unseen: An American Odyssey from the Inner City to the Ivy League.

The Takoma Park Book Discussion will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 10:30am – 12:00pm in room 103 (lower level) of the Resource Center.

Refreshments will be provided.

Credo Reference Launches Its New, Enhanced Platform


CREDO Reference is a giant online reference library that provides...access to a selection of reference books...[including] encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri and books of quotations, ...[and] a range of subject-specific titles covering everything from art to accountancy and literature to law." You can search or browse by subject in this database. These titles are also accessible through our online catalog. The new interface provides:
