Continue the second annual statewide reading initiative

Montgomery College invites all to join in on One Maryland One Book's second annual reading initiative. We will be reading and discussing the book, Song Yet Sung. and James McBride, award winning author of the book will be our featured guest!

Set in the swamps of Maryland’s Eastern Shore in the 1850s, “Song Yet Sung” weaves the voices of escaped slaves, free blacks and slave catchers. The narrative provides a compelling venue to discuss issues such as race, power, identity and Maryland history.

We look forward to seeing you!
